What is a suggested donation amount in memory of someone?

Any amount helps. Many families give what they would have spent on flowers, but the right tribute is whatever feels meaningful to you. Every dollar has a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people.

Can I notify someone when I dedicate a gift in honor or in memory of someone?

Yes, when you make an honor or memory gift, you can decide to notify a person of your choosing of the gift you made. After completing your donation, you will see options to write a personalized message and send a card with your dedication.

Yes, and many people find that sharing their story helps others feel connected to the cause. You’re welcome to include a message, photos, or memories—whatever feels right to you.

That’s completely okay. You can keep your fundraising page private or share only with people close to you. This is your journey, and we respect wherever you are in the process.

Is this only for people who’ve lost someone to suicide?

No. Many people also choose to fundraise in honor of someone who is struggling, in celebration of recovery, or simply because they care about mental health and want to make a difference.

What language should I use when sharing my fundraiser publicly?

We encourage the use of safe and respectful language around suicide and mental health. We’re happy to help you develop phrasing for your page and are willing to assist at any point during the creation and management of your page. If you have any questions, please feel welcome to email us.
